Hi, you can call me Bleu.

I believe boudoir photography is for every body, every age, and every woman who wants to feel incredible in her own skin.

My approach is relaxed, uplifting, and judgment-free; I’m here to hype you up, make you laugh, and guide you into poses that flatter and celebrate you.

I want your session to feel like a fun, confidence boosting experience with a trusted friend.

My mission is simple:

To help you walk away feeling more empowered, radiant, and deeply connected to yourself than when you walked in.

The Girl Behind the Camera

Capturing my Clients at Their Best Is my Greatest Joy.

Los Angeles based photographer, Bleu Magdalena elegantly blends her passion for oil painting, copper etching and fashion into indelible images. “Each photo I take is made to create something that stays with each viewer. That’s why I specialize in women and boudoir, women are both the muses and the creators of this earth. Powerful and gorgeous equals haunting.” Magdalena Bleu Briggs studied under International artists and sculptor Alexander Kritselis; painter Jim Morpheseus, one of the most influential members of the expressionist art movement; and New York Times Photojournalist, documentarian and Professor Jill Connelly. Bleu also studied makeup artistry with international Makeup Maestro Kevyn Aucoin and assisted The Mother of “flawless makeup” Laura Mercier.

How I Discovered my Passion for Photography

From the moment I fell in love with old Hollywood films, I was captivated by the elegance, drama, and glamour of women who owned their presence on screen.

That fascination led me into the worlds of art, beauty, and fashion—first as a painter, then as a makeup artist working backstage at New York Fashion Week. For years, I collaborated closely with photographers as both a makeup artist and stylist, witnessing how lighting, posing, and expression could transform not just an image, but how a woman felt about herself.

Becoming a photographer felt like the natural evolution of everything I loved: glamour, storytelling, empowerment, and artistry.

My background as a painter, makeup artist, stylist, and certified yoga instructor allows me to guide clients with an expert eye for detail, body awareness, and authentic expression—elevating every boudoir photography experience.

As a bilingual artist fluent in English and Spanish ( learning Italian as well), I’m passionate about making every woman feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

Boudoir photography became my calling the moment I realized it was the perfect fusion of creativity, glam, and confidence creating art that allows women to see themselves as I already do: strong, radiant, and absolutely divine.
